Employee Wellness Program

Our employee wellness program describes our company’s wellness initiatives that promote employee health. The program is designed to encourage awareness of health related issues, improve morale, and will, in time, likely reduce the cost of employee injuries and healthcare.

Employee wellness programs have many benefits. Wellness helps people become more productive. It can reduce the number of sick days employees take and various sickness-related expenses and accidents. But, most importantly, employee wellness is a vital aspect of building a happier workplace.

Our wellness program has several goals. For example, we want to help our employees:

  • Improve general health and well-being
  • Improve productivity
  • Improve the sense of being a team
  • Improve morale and attitude
  • Decrease absenteeism
  • Reduce turnover rate
  • Decrease injuries

The program is developed for voluntary participation in any or all of the below listed activities and is only offered to full time employees. Any employee demonstrating participation in the recognized events will receive the number of points associated with each specific wellness objective.

Please review the City of Redlands Wellness Program for additional information.
