Mall demolition to begin

Town Square Development Group LLC, owners of the Redlands Mall site, informed the City of their plans to begin the demolition of the Mall site beginning the week of March 16.

Demolition will begin with the former Denny’s building located at the northeast corner of the property. It is anticipated that demolition of that building will take approximately two weeks. Following demolition of that building, Town Square will begin the demolition of the Redlands Mall, while preserving the CVS location. Demolition of the larger Mall building is anticipated to take two to three months.

Demolition work will occur on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and may have an audible impact in the immediate area. Staging areas for the removal of the building materials will remain within the fenced-off area currently on the site and should not impact available public parking.
