Presentation to provide sneak peek at Museum of Redlands

Dr. Nathan Gonzales, Archivist at the A.K. Smiley Public Library, will provide an inside look at the Museum of Redlands at a presentation from 1-2 p.m. Thursday, July 16, at the Joslyn Senior Center, 21 Grant St.

Gonzales will briefly walk through the 27-year history of the project, discuss how the current iteration evolved and share the exhibition concepts that visitors will experience once the museum opens.

The Museum of Redlands will honor the rich cultural heritage of the City, featuring a wide variety of ever-changing exhibits that will appeal to all ages. It will house historical treasures that will bring the region’s past to life along with traveling exhibits. Among the initial exhibitions will be a “Hometown Heroes” series, highlighting people from all walks of Redlands’ past who have made a difference in the community in some way.
