I’ve lost my pet, can you help me?

When is an Animal Services Officer available?
Animal Services Officers are available to respond to calls from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and Saturday 8 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. If you need assistance from an Animal Services Officer, please contact us at (909) 798-7644
What are your hours of operation?
The operational hours of the shelter are Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. We are closed on Sundays, Mondays, and holidays. Telephones are answered Tuesday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (909) 798-7644.
If you have an emergency after hours, you may call the Redlands Police Department at tel:(909) 798-7644, ext. 1.
Where are you located?
The shelter is located at 504 N. Kansas Street (on the corner of Park and Kansas). This is between Tennessee and Alabama south of Redlands Boulevard.
I need to give up my pet. Can you help?
Our staff takes pride in being able to offer alternative resources to your pet and you. We have a network of rescue groups that may be able to assist you in finding your animal a new loving home.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, check, and credit cards at the shelter
Do you board animals?
We are not a boarding facility but we can certainly help in directing you to many professional boarding facilities in the area
Can you vaccinate my dog or cat?
We do not offer vaccinations to the public. Although we do vaccinate all animals impounded at our shelter for their protection.
Can I have my animal spayed or neutered at your shelter?
We do not have an onsite veterinarian so we cannot offer surgeries. We do spay and neuter all dogs and cats two months or older at time of adoption. They are transported to our contracted veterinarian to be spayed or neutered.
If you need to have your pet spayed or neutered there are low-cost veterinarians available.
Wildlife is coming into my yard, can you help me?
Yes! The shelter offers written material that may help you better understand the wildlife you share your community with. We can assist you in learning how to deter the wild animals from your property, allowing them to continue to survive in the area. You may learn to enjoy and appreciate the wildlife we have.
What can I do about feral or stray cats in my neighborhood?
The Redlands Animal Shelter no longer accepts healthy stray cats. If you find a cat or kitten, within the city of Redlands, in need of assistance due to sickness or injury, please contact the shelter. We can also provide additional resources for free-roaming stray cats in your area
What can I do about barking dogs?
The City has an ordinance pertaining to noisy animals. There is a procedure in place to assist you in resolving your complaint. Call Animal Control for assistance at (909) 798-7644.
