Join us for a fun filled educational in-person LEGO camp!

The City of Redlands Recreation Division is pleased to offer its LEGO camp for children ages 5-12. These classes are generously offered through the City of Redlands and taught by Play-well Teknologies.

Play-well have outstanding instructors teaching year-round and make the curriculum their own, so that each program is a uniquely fun experience.

Learn Coding Using LEGO Spike Prime System (1/2 Day)

Build and program robots in this Introductory Robotics Class using the LEGO Spike Prime System. Learn basic programming skills using a simple visual block coding system that will allow kids to grasp new and diverse coding challenges. Join us as we build a variety of different robots using motors, sensors and lights that will make for a fun experience that incorporates both building with LEGO and coding. This is a great way to prepare young Robotics enthusiasts for our more advanced Robotic programs.

Explore Coding using LEGO Spike Prime System (1/2 Day)

Rise to the challenge to build and program robots using the LEGO Spike Prime system! Learn about mechanical and software design, loops, conditional statements, problem solving, and teamwork skills. Design and construct your robot to avoid obstacles, pick up and carry objects, and play sounds. Projects are structured so that students work in an open-ended, investigative environment while having fun.

STEM challenge + Radical Rides 2.0 using LEGO Materials

Design and innovate during a full day of LEGO fun with an experienced Play-Well TEKnologies instructor. First, apply real-world concepts in physics, engineering, and architecture through engineer-designed projects. Then, get anywhere, anyway by building fast and furious vehicles of all kinds! We guarantee that our Play-Well instructors will help you get movin’ and groovin’ through the world.

STEM + Radical Rides using LEGO Materials (Full- Day Camp)

Let your imagination run wild all day long with tens of thousands of LEGO Parts! First, discover the world around us through our inquiry-based learning model and engineer-designed projects. Then, start your engines as you build and design an array of exiting machines, traversing land, sea, and air, with the assistance of your experienced Play-Well TEKnologies instructors. Learn about the engineering principles behind motors, gears, and everything that vrooms and zooms!
