Citrus Preservation Commission

The Citrus Preservation Commission acts in an advisory capacity to the City Council
in all matters pertaining to the acquisition, improvement, preservation and retention of citrus properties within the City.

The Citrus Preservation Commission meets quarterly in the months of February, May, August, and November on the third Wednesday at 4:00 p.m.

Residents of Redlands and surrounding communities are encouraged to apply. Persons interested in applying for the non-salaried position on this commission may request application forms from the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 35 Cajon Street, Suite 4 or by phone at 909-798-7510, or from the City’s website

Human Relations Commission

The Human Relations Commission was established to foster peaceful relations among persons of different races and national origins.  This commission serves in an advisory capacity to the City Council and to aid the City in achieving better human relations by providing assistance to all persons or groups in promoting good will and better relations among all people. 

The Human Relations Commission meets quarterly on the second Monday of the month of March, June, September, and December at 6:30 p.m.

The Human Relations Commission consists of seven members.  Five (5) members shall each be selected from one (1) council district, and be appointed by the Council Member of that corresponding district.  Two (2) commission members appointed by the city council shall be from the sophomore or junior class of a Redlands high school or a college student.

We are currently accepting applications for District 3, 4, & 5 Residents ONLY.
