How to schedule a free Bulky Item collection pick-up

**Schedule your bulk item pickup now for appointments beginning September 1, 2026**

Please call Customer Service at (909) 798-7529 or visit our office at 35 Cajon Street, Suite 15-A, to schedule your bulky item pickup.

Single Family Residential customers receive two (2) free bulky item pickups per calendar year, with up to three (3) items per pickup.

Bulky Item Pickups are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis and are limited to 20 pickup requests per day (Monday through Friday). Bulky items will be scheduled for collection on your regularly scheduled solid waste service day, provided space is available. Requests received after the daily limit has been reached will be scheduled for the next available service day.

If you need your items collected sooner than your scheduled service day, you may request a Special Haul. In most cases, Special Hauls can be scheduled within a few days of your request and are subject to the applicable service fees. Another option is to take your items directly to the county landfill located in San Timoteo Canyon. For current fees and hours of operation, please call 1-800-722-8004. If your item(s) are recyclable, you may also search for a local recycling facility.

GENERAL INFORMATION ON BULKY ITEM PICKUP

Any item that does not fit in your regular solid waste container (automated, commercial bin, or can) and is not considered a banned item (i.e., hazardous waste) can be collected from your curbside for a fee.

• Single-family residential customers receive TWO free bulky-item pickups per year, with up to three items per collection. See flyer below for information on acceptable items.

• Solid waste crews cannot enter a building or residence to collect special-haul or bulky items.

• Bulky-items or special hauls must be scheduled in advance, with the material ready for collection on the scheduled day by 6am.

Special Haul Fees:

• First item: $56.65

• Each additional item: $28.32

Hours of Operation:

Call Center: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Lobby: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Please note that City offices are closed on alternating Fridays.
