City offers Art Summer Camp for Teens at Prospect Park
The City of Redlands Recreation Division is excited to announce the Art Studio Summer Camps for Teens, held at the Carriage House in Prospect Park, 1399 Prospect Drive.
This two-week program, offered by StudioWorks Art Collective (SWAC), is designed to spark creativity and build artistic confidence in a welcoming, hands-on environment. Each week highlights a different art style, giving teens the opportunity to explore new techniques, express themselves, and create something uniquely their own. Additional information is shown below:
Week 1: Drawing Skills (July 6-10, 5 to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday; $150)
Focus on fundamental drawing techniques such as shading, proportion and observation through daily lessons and guided practice.
Week 2: Watercolor Technique (July 20-24, 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday; $150)
Dive into fundamentals of watercolor painting, including brush techniques, color blending, and wash methods through daily lessons and guided practice.
