Pickleball is a popular paddle sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong. It is played on a court similar in size to a doubles badminton court, and players hit a plastic ball over a net with a paddle. Pickleball can be played in singles or doubles and is known for its friendly and social nature, making it suitable for players of all ages and skill levels. It’s a great way to stay active, enjoy friendly competition, and connect with others in a fun, engaging setting.

Flores Senior Center Pickleball Courts

Pickleball courts are located at the Flores Senior Center, 111 W. Lugonia Avenue. Enter either from Clay Street or through the building entrance on Washington Street.

Our newly established facility includes 8 lighted pickleball courts. A shaded sitting area, indoor restrooms, and equipment are available during Gonzales Community/Flores Senior Center operating hours.

PICKLEBALL COURT & COURTYARD HOURS*:

Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM

Friday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Saturday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Sunday: 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM

OPEN PLAY:

Open play is available during all times not designated for organized play and is offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

ORGANIZED PLAY:

This program provides a fun, inclusive environment for beginners and experienced players alike. Participate in free organized play sessions that promote fitness, friendly competition, and community connection.

Senior Center hours (Restrooms open):

Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Early Court Access (July 7–Sept 28):

Pickleball Courts will open daily at 6:30 a.m., Monday through Sunday, through the summer.

Furniture will be unlocked at 7:30 a.m.

Closing times remain:

Mon–Fri: 8:30 p.m.

Saturday: 3:30 p.m.

Sunday: 4:00 p.m.

No personal items on the courts:

For safety reasons, please keep all personal items off the courts at all times. Please us the courtyard to store all personal items.
